"I'm not going to pretend like I know much about the world from which this record comes, all I know is that if I see a record with "cumbia soundsystem" on the label, I will grab it every time.
Cha-cha dub style with reverb-soaked samples, organ accents and synth-fueled melodies, I'd venture to guess you don't have any records like this on your shelf. It's ok, I won't tell anybody, just grab this one and your secret is safe with me.
I'm only the slightest bit fearful that this leads me down an entirely new rabbit hole, previously unexplored, that eventually leads to my financial downfall. If (when?) that happens, at the very least I'll be sure to keep you here apprised of the standouts."
